Job Title: Kitchen Processing Agent

Compensation: $16 Per Hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, rotating start time of either 7AM-3PM or 8AM-4PM

Location: Centerville, Utah

Status: Full-time

The Kitchen Agents are team members that operate with the utmost detail in production of cannabis infused products. If you are someone keen on quality and overall cleanliness, this might be the perfect role for you. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Setting up mixer and depositor according to accurate/correct procedure
  • Making sure to utilize the instructions provided for successful mixing (Some ingredients are weighed out from the previous day)
  • Take instructions and follow direction as delegated by leadership to meet daily and weekly, individual and team production and quality standards.
  • Wash dishes and kitchenware in the kitchen and lead/perform all required sanitation processes in the kitchen.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment this includes trays, breakers as well as other assigned lab equipment
  • Conduct regular quality control checks on to ensure consistency and safety
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve production processes and efficiency
  • Ensure personal hygiene is acceptable before performing any production activities by washing hands, wearing a hair net and other personal protective equipment, etc.
  • Sanitize all production equipment and tools including workspace, utensils, containers, cookware, and machinery.
  • Be prepared to change technique and instruction based on variables and strain attributes.
  • Complete all required tasks while product is in the mixing process (Potential downtime)
  • Weighing out missing ingredients for next batch, spray molds, getting racks cleaned, covered & labeled for appropriate batch
  • Pour batch, homogenize, deposit and mix until the required goal for batch amount has been completed for the day
  • Complete break down of mixer and depositor and weigh out ingredients for the next day
  • Stay on top of keeping area clean at all time, to include wiping down tables, sweeping and mopping, cleaning and sanitizing of trays, molds and miscellaneous dishes
  • Assist associates to achieve team goals.
  • Maintain a food grade safe and organized work environment.
  • Must be comfortable wearing full PPE (i.e. face mask, beard net, hair net, scrubs, etc.)
  • Maintain a culture of professionalism.
  • Stay on top of keeping area clean at all time, to include wiping down tables, sweeping and mopping, cleaning and sanitizing of trays, molds and miscellaneous dishes
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
 

Qualifications:

  • Previous cannabis manufacturing, extraction, or kitchen technician experience, preferred
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written, with co-workers and management
  • Possess a sense of urgency, problem-solving, and organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Motivated with flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to bend, lift and stoop continuously
  • Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time
  • Good visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to perform repetitive motions with accuracy is required
  • Must pass a pre-employment/post-offer background check
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

    • 2 weeks accrued annually during the first two years of employment
    • 3 weeks accrued annually after two years of continuous employment
