Job Title: Cultivation Technician

Compensation: $17 Per Hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, occasional weekends and holidays

Location: Centerville, Utah

Status: Full-time

Responsibilities include:

  • Meet cultivation goals and objectives while maintaining quality assurance standards and protocols
  • Basic cultivation maintenance and cleaning tasks
  • Deleafing, lollipopping, trellis netting, and room cleaning
  • Loading and unloading materials, supplies, and waste
  • Learning and following all Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Rules
  • Follow and complete tasks in an efficient and consistent manner
  • Follow regulatory guidelines
  • Create a positive work environment
  • Arrive on time and have reliable forms of transportation
  • Adhere to safe handling practices and manage inventory effectively
  • Clean and organize tools and equipment
  • All other tasks assigned
 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in cultivation or agriculture is preferred, but not required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, multiple times, daily
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch daily
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time 8-12 hours
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to adapt to changes
  • General computer skills
  • Ability to work on weekends
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment/post-offer background check
  • Must have a working phone with connection to internet services
 

Benefits:

  • Paid time off (PTO)
    • 2 weeks accrued annually during the first two years of employment
    • 3 weeks accrued annually after two years of continuous employment
    • 4 weeks accrued annually after five years of continuous employment
  • Seven (7) paid holidays per year
  • 30 minute paid lunches per working day over 5 hours
  • Employer paid 60% of the total medical insurance premium
  • Employer paid 75% of the total dental insurance premium
  • Employer paid 75% of the total vision insurance premium
  • HSA with match up to $150 per month
  • 401(k) with 100%  employer match up to 3% and 50% match for the following 2%
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Employer paid $25,000 of basic life coverage
  • Optional additional life insurance
  • Optional accident insurance 
  • Employees who are active medical cannabis patients are eligible for an employee discount of 35% off of WholesomeCo products and 15% off of 3rd party products
