We are seeking an IT Support Technician to manage a broad range of responsibilities, from technical support ticketing to physical hardware deployment. This role offers the opportunity to engage with multiple facets of our technology operations and contribute significantly to our organization.
Responsibilities include:
- Act as the primary internal support for our POS software and state compliance workflows. Validate and triage software bugs before escalation to engineering/leadership.
- Own ticketing system internally, having the knowledge to prioritize the different requests that come in, I/E front end, back end, etc
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on PCs, laptops; thermal and standard printers, mobile devices, and other advanced peripherals
- Maintain, troubleshoot and provision our mobile and retail payment terminals
- Collaborate with leadership as well as our Systems Administrator on prioritization of tasks to be completed in a timely manner
- Assist with password resets, account unlocks, and routine user account management tasks; Escalation to management when/as necessary
- Perform routine user account, hardware, and security badge access onboarding
- Ensure IT equipment in multiple locations is functioning correctly.
- Provide training and assistance to staff members on IT systems and POS systems.
- Help troubleshoot the State-mandated compliance software and work with the provider to resolve the issues.
Qualifications:
- An educational background in a technical field preferred but not required
- At least 1 year of previous experience in an IT support role is preferred
- COMPTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certifications preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to be on call for urgent issues with facility and retail locations, occasionally outside of normal business hours
- Strong organizational skills, ready to pivot as the role demands it
- Must be a self starter, you are someone who is motivated to do your best each and every day
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, crouch for extended periods
- Ability to carry up to 25 lbs without any assistance
- Must have a valid drivers license and vehicle to commute from our retail location to our supply facility and vice versa
- Must pass a pre-employment/post-offer background check
- Must be 21 years of age or older
Benefits:
